Our story doesn’t begin in a restaurant or in the kitchen. It begins with a camera and a desire to show the world as it truly is. We started filming shows about children living far from modern life. Our journeys took us through Kosovo, Africa, Russia, the Balkans… To places without spotlights, where life is simple but genuine. The children taught us what it means to find joy in little things, and their strength and smiles became the inspiration we wanted to share.
Our work did not go unnoticed — awards followed, among them the most significant one, Emitaz in Saint Petersburg. Yet more important than the recognition was the realization that every meeting, every story, and every journey also changes us. From these experiences, a new idea was born. If travel can shape us, why couldn’t food do the same? Food, just like a story, connects people, awakens memories, and creates new friendships. That is how Gastro Hood came to life.
